Pipe Relining Commerical
New arrivals, face-lifts and a whole lot of relining.
From welcoming our newest and cutest team member to revamping our “most used” (never mind plenty relining in between), July has been a busy month all-round for the Sydney Relining team both on, and off the tools.
Off the tools
First and foremost, we’d like to welcome the newest member of the Sydney Relining team, Sam. He was born on 11/07/2021 weighing a healthy 8 pound 6 ounces. Sam has already expressed a keen interest in the relining industry and dreams about nothing else for around 20hrs per day…

When a newborn joins the family, it is not uncommon for others to get jealous. So, we decided that our recently “most used” vehicle deserved some attention in the form of a facelift. Our inversion truck has been fully restored inside with equipment upgrades across the board including new boiler, wet-out table, fridge and power facilities, whilst the exterior has been given a touch-up with a new wrap.

On the tools
We completed a wide variety of pipe and drain relining projects throughout July, keeping our team and tech on their toes to complete each project successfully. The use of our newly renovated inversion truck was more valuable than ever, with some long inversion relining projects completed, whilst our robotic cutter greased its wheels on more than one occasion.
To give you a taste of the variety we can not only execute but enjoy, we’ve detailed three specific projects below.
Commercial Premises
Wastewater was escaping a broken pipe and flooding surrounding buildings at this commercial premises. The team relined over 40m of 225mm pipe, including the milling and robotic cutting of numerous defects within the line. The work was completed within a single day before the rains came and caused even more damage.
The Advantages of Pipe Relining for Efficient Pipe Repairs
Pipe relining is a modern, trenchless method for repairing damaged or leaking pipes without the need for invasive excavation. This innovative technique involves inserting a flexible, resin-coated liner into the affected pipe, which is then inflated and cured to form a new, durable pipe within the existing one. The result is a seamless and corrosion-resistant pipe that not only restores the structural integrity of your plumbing system but also improves flow efficiency. By choosing Pipe Relining, you can extend the lifespan of your pipes, prevent future damage, and minimise the risk of costly repairs down the line.
Embracing Pipe Relining as a preferred solution for pipe repairs offers several benefits, including reduced costs, minimal disruptions, and enhanced environmental sustainability. Since there’s no need for large-scale digging, Pipe Relining helps you save up to 50% in repair expenses compared to traditional methods, while also reducing the time and resources required for the job. Furthermore, the trenchless nature of Pipe Relining significantly lessens the impact on your property and the surrounding environment, preserving your garden, landscaping, and infrastructure. By opting for Pipe Relining, you’re investing in a long-lasting, efficient, and eco-friendly solution for maintaining the health of your plumbing system.
