Pipe Relining Rosebery
Pipe Dive March
March has been a funny old month for Sydney-siders, and as we all face the struggles of seeing much more of our family than we may like, coupled with the stark reality of not being able to escape to the pub, the Sydney Relining team have, as ever, remained hard at work with smiles on their faces keeping Sydney’s plumbing operational.
Record rainfall throughout March, up to 177% of the average in some areas of Sydney, put additional pressure on all plumbing systems (read why your plumbing won’t wait for the rain), leading to a wide range of challenges for the team.
Here are some of the ins and outs of our favourite relining jobs in March.
Sydney Terrace, Rosebery
Tree roots, as we know, are the arch-enemy of pipes, specifically old earthenware ones used in many Sydney properties.
This terrace in Rosebery had an infestation of tree roots which had cracked and capitulated their sewer pipe.
With tight working room, the team worked quick and smart, completing the reline in two days with minimal disruption to the owners, who were more than happy with the result.

Centennial Park
The main sewer running directly under the entire length of this building in Centennial Park had started to collapse, causing issues for the occupiers, exacerbated as the majority of them were working from home.
The team completed the repair in a single day, to the delight of the occupiers, allowing the building and its foundations to be consolidated.

Youth Camp, Southerland Shire
The heavy rainfall had highlighted multiple large holes in a PVC sewer pipe at this youth camp, situated next to a river, in the Southerland Shire.
An electrical power box, located above the sewer line, meant that excavating and repairing the damaged pipe was not an option. The customer was then pleasantly surprised to learn that the only option (relining) was not only cheaper but would cause much less disruption to the property.

Bank, Rooty Hill
A stormwater pipe over 15m in length and picking up rainfall of the entire roof and car park of a bank in Rotty Hill was damaged.
In ironically wet weather, requiring the use of an emergency pump, the team inverted the reline under a footpath to the connection in the road, producing a perfect installation in the most imperfect of conditions.
We couldn’t be more proud of the way our team has pulled together during these strange times. As daily life continues to change for many of us, we will all invariably need our plumbing to be in tip-top shape. We will be here to ensure that it is and if you have to stay home, you do so in comfort, without stress or worry.

The Advantages of Pipe Relining for Efficient Pipe Repairs
Pipe relining is a modern, trenchless method for repairing damaged or leaking pipes without the need for invasive excavation. This innovative technique involves inserting a flexible, resin-coated liner into the affected pipe, which is then inflated and cured to form a new, durable pipe within the existing one. The result is a seamless and corrosion-resistant pipe that not only restores the structural integrity of your plumbing system but also improves flow efficiency. By choosing Pipe Relining, you can extend the lifespan of your pipes, prevent future damage, and minimise the risk of costly repairs down the line.
Embracing Pipe Relining as a preferred solution for pipe repairs offers several benefits, including reduced costs, minimal disruptions, and enhanced environmental sustainability. Since there’s no need for large-scale digging, Pipe Relining helps you save up to 50% in repair expenses compared to traditional methods, while also reducing the time and resources required for the job. Furthermore, the trenchless nature of Pipe Relining significantly lessens the impact on your property and the surrounding environment, preserving your garden, landscaping, and infrastructure. By opting for Pipe Relining, you’re investing in a long-lasting, efficient, and eco-friendly solution for maintaining the health of your plumbing system.
